When a 34-year old Tokyo salaried worker gets hit by a truck, he finds himself in purgatory; but this strange world is not quite the same as what his religion taught him. Among other things, instead of meeting gods and angels like he expected, he meets a strange monster in a dungeon who eats him… and he’s reborn as a slime! Now on top of figuring out how to survive as one of the weakest creatures alive, he also has to figure out how his old world works in this new form as well.
